Last Week: --------------------------- Disappointing showing in Indy for the Texans. Just not on the same level as the Colts. Unfortunately, they weren't as strong as the second stringer Colts either. Ugh.
This Week: --------------------------- Meaningless game against Jacksonville. The Jags are already set in where they are in the playoffs. For the Texans, it is a chance to go 8-8.
Rumors: --------------------------- none
Injuries: --------------------------- Demeco Ryans hurting. Will play, but not 100%.
Schaub will be #3 this week, indicative of his healing process.
Position Analysis: --------------------------- QUARTERBACKS: Sage up and down, too much down. Jags defense still good even if resting.Prediction: Sage tips the 200 yard mark and perhaps 2 TDs, but also goes for 2 INTs
RUNNING BACKS: Dayne ailing and Walker getting the brunt of the carries. Prediction: Sit Texan running backs this week.
WIDE RECEIVERS: Andre Johnson is an A+++ fantasy stone cold stud. Walker is getting more touches too Prediction: AJ goes for at least 7 catches, one touchdown and 100 yards. Walter has 4-5 catches in there as well as a touchdown.
TIGHT ENDS: Daniels a strong fantasy tight end Prediction: Daniels gets five to six catches and a possible touchdown in the red zone.
PLACE KICKER: Chris Brown should get some points here against a Jag defense that bends but doesn't break. Prediction: Brown potentially boots four or five field goals if the Texans cannot penetrate the end zone.
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS: Defense is banged up, and faces a running team in Jacksonville. Low scoring a possibility though with so much running.

Last Week: --------------------------- Colts - 38, Texans - 15: For those of you who survived your playoffs in Week 14 when none of the Colts had a good game, you were probably rewarded last week as all the usual suspects had GREAT games against the Texans. The Colts blew this one open early and even though some of the regulars sat down in the second half, they had put up good enough numbers in the time they played to do you some good. This week, you may not be that lucky!
This Week: --------------------------- In a very interesting match-up, the Tennessee Titans travel to Indy to take on the Colts in the RCA Dome. It's likely that the Titans will still have to win the game to make the playoffs, so you know they'll be ready to play. The problem is, this game means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the Colts and most of the guys that you rode to your championship will be sitting on the bench by the third quarter. And, if you have Peyton Manning, you'll have to hope he throws for 90 yards and 1 touchdown on the only series he'll probably play.
Rumors: --------------------------- Nothing that will affect your fantasy squad.
Injuries: --------------------------- Eleven guys haven't practiced yet this week, which is why the Colts will probably rest most of their starters against the Titans. Marvin Harrison is still the most notable name that probably won't play this week.
Position Analysis: --------------------------- QUARTERBACKS: If you still have time and your regular fantasy back-up stinks, hopefully you can pick up Jim Sorgi!! Peyton may play a quarter, but I doubt he'll be in for more than that. He still may get a touchdown, but this is the only time of the year (other than the bye week, of course) where I would tell you to find another option at QB. And, despite my Sorgi joke, I wouldn't go running out and pick him up either. The Colts will try to run the ball to make this game go as quickly as possible. Projection: Peyton - 100 yards, 1 TD; Sorgi - 150 yards, 1 TD.
RUNNING BACKS: For all of you that have held on to Kenton Keith, this is your week!!! Actually, Addai probably will play the first half, and then could sit down for the second half. I think Dungy will run the ball 50 times to get this thing over with. It really doesn't matter whether or not they win, so he'll try to pound the Titans. Projection: Addai - 60 total yards, 1 touchdown; Keith - 100 total yards.
WIDE RECEIVERS: Wayne will probably play into the second half, but probably won't put up monster numbers. Although, I do think that he will snag a touchdown while he's in there. He's the only Colts receiver that I would play this week, including Anthony Gonzalez. Projection: Wayne - 5 catches, 60 yards, 1 touchdown.
TIGHT ENDS: Ben Utech probably won't play, and don't blink or you'll miss Dallas Clark. I wouldn't plan on any Colt TE to do well this week.
PLACE KICKER: Honestly, Vinatieri may kick six FGs this week! He's the only rock-solid Colt fantasy player this week. Projection: 3-4 FGs maybe, 2 XPs
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS: Definitely play the Colts defense this week, even if some of the starters are going to sit. The Titans really, really struggle to move the ball offensively and they're particularly bad on the road.

Last Week: --------------------------- Jags 49, Raiders 11: This game was over at halftime. Well, that's not true. It was over at kickoff. For the handful of fantasy owners who are still playing, I won't bother you with recapping this demolition of the once-proud Raider franchise. Let's just say that all your Jags that you were playing did well.
This Week: --------------------------- The Jags travel to Houston to take on their division rivals, the Texans. Neither team has much to play for, but it's interesting to note that if Tennessee wins their game, three of the four AFC South teams will make the playoffs. That sucks for a Texans team that went 7-3 against the rest of the NFL, but are 0-5 against the division.
Rumors: --------------------------- Nothing this week.
Injuries: --------------------------- Nothing that will directly affect your fantasy squad.
Position Analysis: --------------------------- QUARTERBACKS: Jack Del Rio isn't tipping his hand about resting his starters, but you gotta think that if Garrard plays, he'll be out of there by halftime. Quinn Grey will probably play, but he'll just be handing the ball off to his RBs. Projection: Garrard (if he even plays) 80 yards, 1 touchdown; Gray - 110 yards, 0 touchdowns
RUNNING BACKS: Look for lots and lots of hand-offs to Fred Taylor early, and Maurice Jones-Drew late. I doubt you'll see Taylor after the second quarter for sure, but Maurice Jones-Drew should have a great game. Projection: Taylor - 50 yards, 1 touchdown; Jones-Drew 130 yards, 1 touchdown.
WIDE RECEIVERS: Honestly, I wouldn't start any Jag WR.
TIGHT ENDS:
If you're absolutely DETERMINED to play a Jag TE, I'd go with Marcedes Lewis who may get you 50 yards on 5 or 6 catches. He may even catch a TD ... um ... nahhhhhh, forget I said that.
PLACE KICKER: If Garrard goes out early, Josh Scobee could be in for a great game at kicker because the Jags might struggle to score TDs in the red zone. Start Scobee. Projection: 3 or 4 FGs, 2 XPs
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS: There's only a couple of defensive players that might get rested a lot and their back-ups are good players anyway. The Texans do have some good skill players and their pride will make them want to win at least ONE division game, so I think that they'll be focused. The Texans aren't a bad team either, so starting the Jags defense may not exactly be a slam dunk for you. Still, you have to dance with the ones that got you to the dance, so hopefully the Jags defense can get you some turnovers -- and maybe even a score!!

| Tennessee Titans |

Last Week: --------------------------- The Tennessee Titans took care of business in Week 15, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 26-17. At this point, you just simply can't know what to expect from the Titans, who can look like two completely different teams from one quarter to the next, much less one game to the next. Vince Young threw for 190 yards and 2 TDs, while LenDale White rushed for 93 yards. The big winner on the receiving end was Roydell Williams who had 94 yards receiving and 2 TDs. Overall it was a decent offensive performance for the Titans.
This Week: --------------------------- The Titans are back home to meet the New York Jets in Week 16, a must-win game for the home team. The Titans can't afford to mess around, so they should put forth their best effort, without a chance of overlooking the Jets. The Jets just finished their Super Bowl last week against the Patriots, and although they might relish the role of spoiler, there's a good chance the Jets might mail this one in. Thomas Jones doesn't pose much of a threat against the Titans' run D, but the Titans tend to let average quarterbacks like Chad Pennington push them around. But in the end, the Titans will be all business and send the J-E-T-S home with coal in their stockings, 24-13.
Rumors: --------------------------- No rumors at this time.
Injuries: ---------------------------
RB LenDale White suffered a knee injury in Week 14, but is listed as probable for Week 16.
Position Analysis: --------------------------- QUARTERBACKS:
Vince Young isn't consistent enough to warrant fantasy consideration in the playoffs, but he's probably making folks angry with his points on your fantasy bench. When Brady, Anderson, and Romo are combining for 10-11 points and Vince Young goes off for 18 points, it can be frustrating. This week, look for 210 yards passing, 2 TDs and 0 INTs, while rushing for 30 yards and 0 TDs. If you are in your league’s playoffs, you do not want to be starting Young, but you might have to. It's as good of a matchup as you'll have for Young, so if you've been saving him...
RUNNING BACKS:
LenDale White has gotten back on track with his performances in the past three weeks. He's back to being a lock for 20+ carries. This week against the Jets will be no different. Coach Fisher will once again look to dictate tempo and control the clock. Look for 25 carries for 110 yards and 1 TD, which makes him a start. Chris Brown is the backup, and could see 8-10 carries again. Brown does tend to get looks after White has carried for 12-15 carries. He should see 8-10 carries and 45 yards.
WIDE RECEIVERS:
The Titans wide receivers are completely unpredictible. One week, it could be Justin Gage leading the way for the Titans, next could be Roydell Williams getting the looks. This week should find a Gage with 5 catches for 60 yards and 1 TD. Roydell Williams is the #2 at this point, and shouldn’t be counted on for more than 3 catches for 35 yards and 0 TDs, despite last week's great performance. The rest of the receivers should not be considered for fantasy.
TIGHT ENDS:
TE Bo Scaife doesn't bring much to the table, but he does get targeted a lot by Young. He had a sure TD called back by a holding penalty last week, so you know he can get in the endzone. This week it should happen for him. Expect 3 catches for 25 yards and 1 TD. Despite this hope, it's probably not a good idea to be banking on him for your fantasy playoffs.
PLACE KICKER:
Rob Bironas has been great for the Titans this year, and good for fantasy teams as well. This week should afford him 1 FG and 3 XPTs against the Jets.
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS:
The Titans defense is playing better this last couple of weeks, but probably will not be elite without Albert Haynesworth at 100%. Even so, his presence results in attention from offensive coordinators, so the defense still manages above average pressure. Expect the Titans D to give up 13 points to the Jets, get 4 sacks, with 2 INTs. . This would be a week to start the Titans D.
