The nightmare is almost over. Another week, another blowout as the Ravens get killed by the Seahawks

    This Week:
    ---------------------------
Though the Steelers are the Ravens biggest division rival this game will mean and show very little. For the Steelers Willie Parker is gone, Ben Roethlisberger won't play. For the Ravens....hmmm. who is playing. No McGahee, no Heap and Troy Smith at QB with an offensive game plan that will prevent him from doing anything. The bottom line is this from a fantasy prospective: 1) Get your league to end earlier so this waste of a week doesn't count 2) If you're considering ANY Raven it's a miracle your team is still alive.

    Rumors:
    ---------------------------

    Injuries:
    ---------------------------
The better question may be who isn't hurt.

    Position Analysis:
    ---------------------------
QUARTERBACKS: Troy Smith has played decent bu the game plan is obviously geared towards guarding his young psyche by not having him do anything. Prediction: Smith, 130 yards, 1TD, 1INT

RUNNING BACKS: Willis McGahee is out and Mike Anderson is hurting. Look for Musa Wmith to start with Anderson bakcing him up. Prediction: Smith, 40 yards; Anderson 25 yards

    WIDE RECEIVERS: With the coache3s not giving QB Troy Smith a chance don't look for anything here either. Prediction: Mason, 50 yards, 1TD; Darling 25 yards; Clayton 15 yards;

TIGHT ENDS: I'm not even sure right now what tight ends we have healthy. I saw some guy with the name Vickers in his back last week who had been released by the Eagles where he was an offensive guard or something. Don't look for Heap, Wilcox is a maybe, Sypniewski is also hurt. Prediction: Someone 15 yards 1TD

PLACE KICKER: Matt Stover may be reliable but at this point it's not reliable that the Ravens will get anywhere near FG range. Prediction: 1 FG, 1EP

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS: Don't look for the defense to do much. They get pressure on the QB but no sacks and in the meantime the 3rd string CB's they're having to start lose their men. Prediction: 1 sacks for 10 yards, 1INT

The Bengals took one on the chin from the San Francisco 49ers last Thursday. First time starter Shaun Hill and RB Frank Gore won Time of Possession and the 49ers defense kept the Bengals from executing. All year long people have been calling the Bengals offense high powered. And it terms of pure yards, and the passing game, there is some truth to that comment. But, where it counts, points on the scoreboard. They are NOT high powered. 6 times this season they have been held at or under 20 points and that includes the last three weeks in a row. They have piled up some large scores in a few contests, but consistently they have not scored enough to win. My Week 15 predictions against actual results: Player.................My Prediction............Actual Result Carson Palmer 280 yards 3 TD 252 yards, 1 TD Rudi Johnson 80 yards 17 yards Chad Johnson 4 rec, 60 yds, 1 TD 6 for 78 yards TJ Houshmanzadeh 8 for 72 yards, 1 TD 5 for 62 yards Chris Henry 3 for 50 yards, 1 TD 1 for 52 yards, 1 TD

    This Week:
    ---------------------------
The Bengals face the Cleveland Browns in a situation much different than the last time they met. Earlier this season, the Bengals were the first to face Derek Anderson, and the Browns scored 51 points. Going into that game, the Browns had just been thumped by the Steelers and were the joke of the NFL. Now the tables are turned. If the Bengals can get their offense working, they could score a lot against the Browns, but given their recent performance, it's hard to predict them for statistical greatness.

    Rumors:
    ---------------------------

    Injuries:
    ---------------------------

    Position Analysis:
    ---------------------------
QUARTERBACKS: Carson Palmer has had a decent fantasy season, and has a good chance to pile up some yards for fantasy owners in their superbowls. Given their perfomance of late, it's by no means assured, but he has a history of lighting up the Browns. 275 yards, 2 TD's

RUNNING BACKS: Rudi has been ineffective far more than he has shined, and if this game turns into a horse race, don't expect that much from him. 70 yards,

WIDE RECEIVERS: Chad Johnson has the stats of a top ranking WR, but he is missing his TD's this year. Also, he has made some costly drops on the field this year. But, he usually shines against the Browns, so it would seem safe to predict 7-115 1 TD from him. Housh will have a 6-85 yard day and Chris Henry who didn't play in the first game will catch 4 passes for 65 yards.

TIGHT ENDS: As always, and I just post this here every year, since every year the Bengals don't have a TE worth a crap Fantasy-wise. DO NOT HAVE A BENGALS TE ON YOUR ROSTER, THEY HAVE NO FANTASY VALUE.

PLACE KICKER: Graham will kick 4 FG this week, and is an every week starter.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS: The Bengals D should be avoided like the plague this week against the Browns. IDP Plays: Madieu Williams, Landon Johnson, and Justin Smith are the only ones to contemplate at this time.

Well the Browns have no one to blame but themselves if they miss the playoffs. The game they played Sunday against the Bengals was as bad as opening day. Some fantasy numbers were acceptable but others were just average or poor. I really got tired of watching Derek Anderson placing his hands on his helmet every time he threw an interception, 4 if your counting. Some of the passes made you stop and say who is this guy playing for because there were no Browns receivers in the area. Anyway, Anderson finished the game with 251 yards, 2 touchdowns and don't forget the 4 interceptions. Jamal Lewis tried to salvage the game with 92 yards rushing and 42 receiving and no touchdowns. Braylon Edwards had only 52 yards but did score twice to get the Browns close. Tight end K. Winslow finished the day with 73 yards and no touchdowns. Phil Dawson had a missed field goal but it wasn't his fault as the holder fumbled the snap and was sacked.

    This Week:
    ---------------------------
The Browns finish the season at home. The loss last week now gives the Titans the tiebreaker so the Titans must lose. The Browns are healthy so they need to get back to their winning ways and give themselves a chance to make the playoffs.

    Rumors:
    ---------------------------
HOW ABOUT THEM OHIO STATE BUCKEYES !!!!!

Thanks for another great season and stop back next year for more Cleveland Browns news.

    Injuries:
    ---------------------------
No major injuries for the Browns

    Position Analysis:
    ---------------------------
QUARTERBACKS: Derek Anderson is a must start, look for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns.

RUNNING BACKS: Jamal Lewis is a starting running back, look for 100 yards and a touchdown plus additional receiving yards.

WIDE RECEIVERS: Braylon Edwards is a must start, look for 75 yards and a touchdown. The Browns #2 receiver is Joe Jurevicius, look for 40 yards.

TIGHT ENDS: K. Winslow can put up good numbers at times, look for 50 yards.

PLACE KICKER: Phil Dawson is getting chances to kick, look for 2 field goals and 3 extra points.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS: Do not use the defense. Josh Cribbs is a must start on special teams.

With the Steelers' 41-24 victory against the Rams and a Cleveland Browns loss last weekend, the Steelers have clinched the AFC North Title and are currently the number four seed in the AFC.

    This Week:
    ---------------------------
This week's game against the Ravens may not be worth playing the starters, since the chance of the Chargers losing to the Raiders is very slim (to get the number three seed).

Playoff Scenario: With a victory this week against the Ravens and a Chargers loss to the Raiders, the Steelers can gain the number three seed. With the number four seed, the Steelers would play the Jaguars at home. With the number three seed, the Steelers would either play the Browns or the Titans at home.

    Rumors:
    ---------------------------
    None.

    Injuries:
    ---------------------------

    Probable:
Ben Roethlisberger – QB – ankle

    Questionable:
    Troy Polamalu – S - knee

    Out (IR):
Willie Parker – RB - leg
Aaron Smith – DE - bicep

    Position Analysis:
    ---------------------------
QUARTERBACKS: Ben Roethlisberger had a great game against the Rams. He threw for 261 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. His 32 touchdowns on the season are a career high (previous high was 18 touchdowns).

This week, look for Charlie Batch to take most of the snaps from center.

Fantasy Outlook: Look for Batch to throw for 150-200 yards, one touchdown and 1-2 interceptions.

RUNNING BACKS: Willie Parker rushed one time for -1 yards against the Rams last weekend and ended his season with a broken bone in his right leg. Now the Steelers will have to rely heavily on Najeh Davenport, who rushed 24 times for 123 yards and a touchdown.

Fantasy Outlook: Look for Davenport to rush 10-15 times for 50-75 yards against the Ravens, playing limited time.

WIDE RECEIVERS: Hines Ward caught six balls for 59 yards and Santonio Holmes caught four balls for 133 yards.

Fantasy Outlook: Look for both Ward and Holmes to play a limited amount of time against the Ravens.

TIGHT ENDS: Heath Miller caught one ball for 7 yards against the Rams.

Fantasy Outlook: Look for Miller to have a decent game against the Ravens, 25-50 yards receiving and a touchdown.

PLACE KICKER: Jeff Reed is having a great season, making 23 of 25 field goals and 41 for 41 extra points. Look for him to have 2-3 field goals and 1-2 extra points.

DEFENSE: Look for the Steelers defense to shut down the Ravens offense. The defense is still a must start this week.
